Provide an enabling environment for the entrepreneurial and research community at West Virginia University and the broader community to create and develop their innovative ideas and designs into functioning prototypes to build a better West Virginia.
The Lane Innovation Hub consists of nearly 9,500 square-feet divided into a student focused maker space and a university level fabrication service center. Locations include:
WVU students, staff, and faculty can register for a free Maker Space membership at the front desk of room G75E or room G85 in the Engineering Sciences Building. Registration provides access to the Lane Innovation Hub Maker Spaces, where members can learn safety procedures, sign up for training, schedule times on equipment, and purchase materials.
Individuals from outside and inside of WVU can register below for an iLab account to use the Lane Innovation Hub Service Center. Users can submit designs for 3D printing and manufacturing, request quotes, and track project status on iLab.”
